“I have not only learned from my professors, but I have also learned much from my fellow classmates.”

Why did you choose UB’s Global Development and Peace program?
After receiving my BA from University of Bridgeport, I was introduced to this program by my advisor.  After speaking to GLDP alumni, I was convinced that it was the natural next step for me to take.

I enjoy the diversity of the student body.  I find my classmates to be engaging and active thinkers.  Also, students are willing to help each other, creating a supportive environment.

How has UB helped you grow?
The classroom experiences are full of challenges, which encourages me to work hard and my knowledge base has grown so much.  Also, I have not only learned from my professors, but I have also learned much from my fellow classmates.

Do you have plans after graduation?
I plan to pursue a teaching position, and I know that my degree from UB will help me to fulfill this goal back in my home country.
